802.1x, Encryption and Authentication - 802.11i and WPA2

WPA2

IDS is able to detect locate and mitigate rogue devices, manage RF interference, detect snooping, managment frames and hijacking attacks, enforce security configuration policies, perform forensic analysis and compliance reporting.

WPA and WPA2 operate in personal and enterprise modes. Products supporting 802.1x and PSK are enterprise, products supporting PSK only are personal products.

Enterprise WPA= 802.1x/PSK, encryption using TKIP/MIC
Personal WPA2=PSK, encryption using AES-CCMP
Enterprise WPA2=802.1x/EAP encryption using AES-CCMP
Personal WPA=PSK, encryption using TKIP/MIC
